Properties
Hyaluronic acid is a white solid, free-flowing, odourless powder.
Without any additives. It is produced by fermentation of yeast proteins using a safe bacterial strain Stretococcus zooepidemicus under GMP conditions. It is therefore called "vegetarian acid", ie not of animal origin. HA has an excellent ability to bind large amounts of water with which it forms a gel. It is insoluble in organic solvents.
